Since picking up a camera seven years ago it seemed only natural to combine that with my other passion of motorsport. Since then I have been traveling with my camera equipment to race circuits around the UK capturing images from sports as diverse as Speedway and Formula One.

The equipment used varies widely, but I am currently using Canon EOS 1V film bodies and EOS 1D MKII digital bodies, this is combined with 'L' series lenses and a laptop to ensure every eventuality is covered.

Yes, we operate a mail order service. A price list & order form is available on request; prints generally take five working days to arrive.

Film or digital?
For meeting deadlines you can’t beat the speed of digital and now it more than rivals film on quality. So while there’s very little reason to use film I strangely find myself using it more. Not for my ‘work’ photos maybe, but on a day out I’ll grab a film camera every time. Perhaps it’s the feel of it being purely mechanical or the way they look. All I know is that they let me get good quirky pictures without the hassle of a computer. So in answer to the question: Both.

Do you only do motorsport photography?
No, although motorsport forms the main focus of my work & remains my favourite subject. I also do landscape, aviation, newspaper & wedding work, a selection of which can be seen in the general online gallery.

Hairiest moment?
A speedway bike crashing through the safety fence a couple of feet in front of me. Or running a close second; a bike somersaulting over the safety fence & landing where I had just been standing.

Do you only do motorsport photography?
No, although motorsport forms the main focus of my work & remains my favourite subject. I also do weddings, newspaper & aviation work, a selection of which can be seen in the general online gallery.

Where else can I see your work?
I have had pictures published in the Speedway Star magazine, Eastbourne Eagles programme & local newspapers. Some of my photos are also featured within, and on the front cover, of the new ’75 Years Of Eastbourne Speedway’ book.
